Mike's Place is closing and being liquidated?

Score!

Are they getting the proceeds of the liquidation or are they going to a creditor/bank/etc.?

Had the same post on craigslist, including the "early" friday sale. Guess if it's still cheap, just gotta get there early :O

I was there Tuesday. There's some pretty decent deals. BB's are cheap - $9/bag of King Arms .25. Some deals on mags and batteries. Some of the guns are a good price too. I picked up a DE 3-shot shotgun for $30. Take your time and inspect what you're buying. Some of the items there are in less than pristine condition due to the way the store used to be run.

Just tell 'em you're from the NJ Airsoft forum.

Also - keep in mind - cash only.

Any good prices on swords? Couldn't hurt to go full nerdy and get some ninja weapons too.

I dunno - I didn't see if he was selling those cheap or not. I know he still has them there.

Picked up a few boxes of KA midcaps for dirt cheap. For anyone who needs batteries, mags, optics, etc this place is a gold mine.

Edit: Plenty of swords and other knicknacks too, for cheap!

Went there today. The guy running the register was a little fishy. He plays "the numbers game" when you're up at the register and claims that if you win you save an extra dollar on your purchase, but if you lose, you pay more (um... what? are you kidding me?) I made two separate purchases and the second time it was an $18 purchase and I "won" and he goes "now it's $19 instead of $20" He talks quickly and tries to divert attention from what's really going on. It wasn't a big deal to me because it was just one dollar but it's a tacky as hell stunt to pull if you ask me. Either way, stuff there's pretty damn cheap. Picked up a couple of Intellect 9.6Vs and BBs for a good price.

lmao, that is the shadiest thing I've ever heard of at a store. I'm sure if you come back later he'll have the shell game out on the counter.

That's mike's place for you. The private sales we went to during the week cleaned out most of the good stuff.

clearly it states that it would be open on Sundays 8-8 but lights are off and doors are locked.
