Tokyo Marui .357 Revolver (Gas problems)

Postby noose » Mon Nov 21, 2011 01:14

Just got hold of a bone yard Marui Colt Python, and was hoping to be able to fix it up so it can be useable again.

Now the gun's problems all seem to be gas chamber related. It won't hold gas at all. Replaced the O-Ring and still won't hold gas. Took the entire gas chamber out of the gun, and couldn't find anything that looked off about it. When you try to put gas in it, it's like the gas escapes out of the bottom of the chamber, but not through the valve or O-Ring. It's like the entire bottom of the gas chamber is removable, and it's escaping out of that area towards the sides.

If anyone knows anything about these guns, or knows where I can purchase a whole new gas chamber/valve that looks as if that will solve the guns problems. Thanks for any help! It's a really cool looking gun, that seems like if fixed (and at the price I got it for!) would be really fun to keep as a side arm!

Is it possible for you to submerge it to see where the gas is coming from?

Mail them to the Red Dragon airsoft guy. Maybe he'll kill himself this time.
