FN F2000 troubleshoot

Postby headmetalrcks » Sun Nov 13, 2011 15:15

Hello, I have a G&G F2000, and it has been having some issues. Also I was shooting the gun before and it was working a-okay, but now it won't work at all.

- I charge the battery yet it does not let the gun fire at all.

I'm not sure if it is the fuse, the gun, the battery, or anything else? Any help would be much appreciated

had the same issue with mine. what happened with mine was the trigger bar came loose. i think theres a specific name for it but i dont know what it is. all bullpups have it. since the trigger is a good 4-6 inches in front of the gearbox, there needs to be a metal bar. what this bar does, is when you pull the trigger, it pushes the bar back against the trigger on the gearbox, which makes the gearbox cycle and fire a shot. this bar is connected to the back of the trigger and runs to the gearbox. so yours could have come loose and slipped off one of those locations. open up the hop up door behind the rear sight and look for the little brass bar. push it back and forth and wiggle it around a little bit. If needed, take the gun apart and look at it again. This isnt the only possibility, it could also be a gear lock-up, a disconnection in the wiring, or it could be as simple as the battery itself. try a different battery before you try anything else.

Yes I had the same problem, and fixed it by moving the gearbox closer to the hop-up unit. Now it works perfectly and I was playing with it at Stryker. Thanks for the help
